The National Food Reserve Agency (NFRA) was established in 1999 to manage the country’s Strategic Food Reserves. It has depots at Bangula, Kanengo, Kazomba (Mzimba), Limbe, Luchenza, Mangochi and Mzuzu. In order to fulfil its mandate, NFRA would like to engage the services of a Driver and is therefore inviting applications from interested and suitably qualified persons to fill the vacant position of Driver.
Purpose of the Job
To provide safe driving services to staff, authorized clients and goods of NFRA.
Main Duties
- Picking up and delivering NFRA staff, clients and items to designated destinations;
- Conducting daily and routine motor vehicle checks;
- Maintaining vehicle logbook;
- Cleaning assigned vehicle(s);
- Advising relevant authorities on vehicle repairs;
- Checking and advising on vehicle licenses.
Requirements
Applicants must have Malawi Schools Certificate of Education (MSCE); Code C Driving Licence; a Defensive Driving Certificate and at least 3 years’ relevant experience.
